NHS Business Services is a body of the Department of Health and Social Care and manage about £39bn of budget annually. They

  • run the NHS Jobs website

  • manage NHS staff records

  • manage the NHS pension scheme

  • process over one billion prescription items each year and 43.6 million dental claims

  • run exemption schemes (such as maternity, low income and medical exemption schemes) providing free or reduced-cost prescriptions or dentistry

  • and more!

This course is to help you get a job as a Customer Contact Advisor. Customer Contact Advisors handle enquiries via phone, computer, and other methods to help with requests. It is designed to be a progression role and people within this function will be supported through a career progression pathway.

During this course, you will:

  • gain knowledge about working for this organisation, the roles available, and the career opportunities

  • improve your employment skills by upgrading your CV and mastering your interview technique

  • meet people who are employing for Customer Contact Advisor vacancies in NHS Business Service roles
